Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

Exclusively walmart batteries since the late 90's for me. And all of mine require the big daddy H8. The only failures I had were replaced under warranty. The rest easily lasted 5+ years. Yes, that's worse than Interstate. But at $180 vs $300, the math is about the same.

Neverstart is what we call them at my shop. Haven’t seen the video you’re referencing but I’ve never liked interstate either. We sold their batteries a long time ago and had lots of issues and dropped them probably 10 years ago.

That’s harsh. Is he able to sample 1000+ Walmart batteries to see if they are all good or bad? No. But here he bought random batteries just as any customer and the Walmart ones performed subpar. His data is better than no data. Plus he isn’t sponsored which I appreciate. Almost all tubers are and I trust very little of what they peddle.

> I think the 718 EV or any other EV that keeps the batteries towards the center as opposed to the traditional skateboard layout will probably stand out and have character in that sense. I agree with everything you said, but wanted to highlight this. Center tunnel and behind (or infront of) the cabin is such a dramatic difference from the skateboard layout. It's **so much better**. The driving experience feels much more natural because you get more information about the road. But so few people have driven non-skateboard EVs. They don't know what they're missing.

I mean given that EVs can't make a personality for themselves through their drivetrain to the same extent ICEVs can (with power delivery, gearing, and sound;), everything else like the suspension tuning, weight distribution, and how the motors are laid out and programmed to behave matters a lot more. I think the 718 EV or any other EV that keeps the batteries towards the center as opposed to the traditional skateboard layout will probably stand out and have character in that sense. Similarly, I think people find character in how certain 3 or 4 motor EVs are able to move with the simulated diffs, standing 180s and whatnot.
