Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

The WRX is a hard sell at $40, but $33k puts it next to a Camry.

Yeah, I put an Android Auto unit in my '99 911, too. It's definitely nice to have. I miss it in my '12 Camry.

I feel the same about every day hondas and toyotas. Between my own cars and cars owned by friends and family, I've driven lots of honda/acura/toyota/lexus sedans including manual variants of camrys/civics/accords/fits. Hondas have always somehow felt sharper. Toyotas including lexus have always felt more delayed in the inputs with a lighter (and probably slower) steering rack. Something about them feels disconnected. They are very obviously tailored towards low effort and comfort, which is what the average person likes. What I do like about Lexus is that they always pull off the most elegant interior designs that wow me in a way acuras dont

    > now do the percentage of income that people have to spend on housing and other essentials The stats are misleading for other reasons. Back then the average home was more modest, now every family wants a 4000 square foot McMansion. Back then most families drove a basic sedan like a Taurus or Camry but now everyone needs a 3 row SUV. It's "lifestyle creep" as much as anything else.
