Agreed. I have ventilated seats in my Elantra, and sure it can be nice to have, it also feels like absolutely nothing on exceptionally hot days. Kinda makes me wish I had just gotten a trim with cloth seats instead.

The 80 gets coils all around, it is way more comfortable, better articulation, better off road vs the 70 leaf and leaf. The 80 has the 1HD-T/-FT option which goes hard compared to the 1HZ only of the 70. Certain markets of the 80 got pov pack (Part-time 4wd, manual, vinyl seats, barn doors) if you want to cosplay as a 70 series. If you want a "that era" 70 - it's single cab ute or troop carrier. And don't get me wrong they are utterly fantastic vehicles, but for most people the 80 would be the 'more premium choice' if spending thousands to import. Australia a GXL 80 series, manual, 96+ with the 1HD-FT. GXL gets you split tailgate, full-time 4wd, cloth seats but most of the other nices to have.
