Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

Audi has no reason to make a cheap hatch because their cheaper sister company (VW) doesn't make one and it's older (hotter) sister (Porsche) doesn't make one either anymore, and it was electric anyway so need not apply. If the three of them could just go ahead and make the equivalent wagon of the Tiguan (Q5, Macan) then we have a game to play. I guess the easiest way would be Porsche bringing back the Panerama Sport Turismo and begin dumbing it down from there.

If only it weren't electric and had an actual SIX foot bed. Put a decent NON turbo gasoline 4 cylinder with a manual transmission in it paired with a SIX foot bed and I be fine with it. I don't need or want power locks/windows or any other crap. Just a small, simple pickup truck.

I'm really rooting for their success, if just to spur other companies to try making basic EVs. On paper an EV **should** be simpler than an ICE car, but in practice they're all horrifically complex and bordering on non-servicable. I'm not in the market for a Truck, but man I'd love a small, basic electric hatchback to be my city car when my Echo returns to the earth from rust.

  4. Comment

Not the same thing, turbo is meant to change power. Hybrid is meant to change fuel consumption and environmental footprint. Considering a turbocharged vehicle is somewhat irrelevant, since you can find powerful engines that are naturally aspirated or electric. Considering a hybrid is about the economy of your vehicle and resale value, as well as environmental concerns people may have. That's why people are talking about fuel technology so much, it's actually not certain how it's going to unfold.

i know 4 ppl who put their names down at the dealers for one of these electric X3's. It's reasonably priced for a BMW suv and big enough for metros. Those Palisades-sized suv's are such a bear to squeeze between the lines in parking structures.
