That if an electric car had a (good) inbuilt way to find chargers, apps like ABRP wouldn't exist. They exist, therefore there are clearly cars that can't.

The demographic issue with making an electric car that is equipped like a budget subcompact car is those buyers are renters and street parkers, not people with access to a power outlet. There are only so many NAPA stores to sell to as a runabout parts delivery vehicle, and there are only so many niche people who have the space, money, and interest to buy a cheap secondary car. I hope it succeeds too, but if I'm brutally honest, this should be assessed like a subcompact car, and that segment is essentially dead today.

Interesting. Just hard to imagine these electric cars not being internet connected. Especially with finding charging stations, calculating trips based on range and where chargers are, etc.

Are you really sure about the OTA updates? Never heard of an electric car that didn’t have that connectivity as part of it.
