   You can also wait to see if the adaptive suspension on the iX3 (supposed to be available in March 2027) improves the ride. It's also a travesty that such an expensive car doesn't have ventilated seats available at launch (supposed to be available November 2027) Even though BMW ventilated seats usually are pretty mediocre, it's still nice to have. ADAS is important to me though as I often drive long distances, and the Volvo (while improved from previous iterations) just can't compare with the BMW.

   Agree with you on all accounts. I’ve tried EX60 and IX3 back to back. EX60 interior is much better and more quiet. That’s all it is. IX3 drives better and drive assistance features are on different level. I’m leaning towards ix3 but need to see ix4 before making final decision.

   BMW doesn’t only care about China, but their design chief said the big grilles are in large part due to Chinese tastes. > When asked if BMW’s grilles had become “too radical” during a roundtable chat at the launch of its new iX3 SUV, BMW Group Design Director Adrian van Hooydonk disagreed, according to Australia’s CarExpert. “No, because it depends on where you are in the world,” he said. “In certain areas in the world, like China, it is good; people are still asking for big grilles. So this is sort of the tricky situation that you’re in as a global brand.” I don’t think it’s disputable that they’ve been heavily influenced by the Chinese buyer with the exterior and interior designs. And big picture wise they’re in trouble. Their stock is down around a third over the past year while Germany focused index funds are flat. Their sales in China are also cratering. It really feels like they’ve gone after an emerging market to chase short term profits at the expense of their dedicated buyer who preferred the restrained designs of the past. There’s no doubting a certain buyer loves the G80. But will those buyers stick around or just chase whatever manufacturer appeals to them next? I think the next decade or so will be interesting for BMW to say the least. I was a dedicated fan for two decades. But the current M cars are just so unappealing to me I bought something else twice since the G80 came out.

   I meant the ix3 had those specs, and people think BMW means classy, they buy what others perceive as wealthy people cars
