Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

The EX60 is bigger and more premium, more of an iX3 or GLC EV competitor.

> But definitely are way behind in EV drivetrain technology. That's the wildest shit I've read on this sub lmao. The iX3's battery cells are literally supplied by CATL, and the cell chemistry was the result of a *joint development* between BMW's in-house Battery Competence Center and CATL. You can argue the Germans aren't that *far* behind in high end EV powertrains (they are hopelessly behind in cheaper alternatives), but calling the Chinese "way behind" is just nonsensical. >at least for the stuff we get in Europe, their quality isn't up to the same quality Correct, the Chinese OEMs reserve the best models for the domestic markets due to more intense competiton there.

And the US is in this strange position where the completely dominant EV brand has become hated by its natural supporters. I think the market will start growing again as you get models like the iX3 and Macan filtering through, even if other American manufacturers aren't keen.

>This week, BMW Group Plant Debrecen built the 50,000th iX3 not even ten months after production started in October 2025. Due to high demand a second shift was added in February of this year Any way you cut it, unless you have information neither I nor the article has, this is not 2 months ago. If they're saying "production" started in Oct 2025, then all the tooling and pilot phases were complete by then and they were ready for actually making cars ok to ship (the ones before that wouldn't be for sale). They should be capable of making their 90th percentile daily production numbers by the point they reach "production" phase. Oct-Feb 5 months, Mar-Jul 5 months of 2 shifts, 15 months equivalent of shifts. 3333 per month of shifts equivalent, equaling 166 per shift on average. I would expect it to about triple that.

GLC is like the last out of 20 other cars I would choose instead of iX3. But to each their own
