Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

I believe Toyota purposely reduced production on the Prius since it wasn’t selling so well in previous generations, it’s just not their priority anymore. On top of their entire lineup being basically hybrids at this point

    > and practical car. It's way, way less practical than the previous generation. We had one for years and looked at the latest generation and it was a major step back in terms of practicality, but not a big step up in other ways. It has "...for a Prius syndrome." Like, it looks good...for a Prius. It's pretty quick...for a Prius. It's pretty nice inside...for a Prius. But the Prius is a terrible benchmark for all those things. It was previously a utilitarian as hell. The styling was for aero and storage space. The interior was cheap and rugged. It's acceleration was just under acceptable. It's fine that Toyota changed the format of the Prius, as I don't think it worked as a cheap utilitarian car anymore, given the Corolla hybrid exists.

Honestly the current generation Prius looks cool but is simply not as practical as the previous generation’s Prius V model. We went with a Civic Hatch Hybrid.

  5. Comment

An EV Prius would be neat! Previous generations were all about efficiency at an affordable price, so translating that to the EVs (and following the vein of the Chevy Bolt) would be nice. The Corolla Hatchback follows the formula of older Prii for those who want a practical little hybrid.
