Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

Curious to see how the Slate is gonna solve this. Last-gen projectors with HIDs were fine. Even older, sealed-beam halogens were dirt cheap but the industry abandoned them years ago.

CarPlay, heated seats and adaptive cruise are my favorite “premium” features that influence the buying decision for me. However, I do have a preorder for Slate, so I guess I don’t care THAT much.

I feel like our modern understanding of what trucks or work vehicles are meant to be has been warped, now every pickup also has to be your daily or fun to take off road. But in sense the Slate is a return to form - a truck that answers the question of "how do I get my broke blue collar and whatever equipment or materials I need to a job and back while spending as little money as possible?". And in 2026 the answer is no longer a big Ford with comfortable seats and loads of quality of life features but a plastic chinese box with an electric motor.

You can go on CarGurus right now and see 1000+ Mavericks for sale at various prices -- you don't need to read a press release to figure out what it's going to cost to get a Maverick in your driveway. The Slate is $26,400 delivered. That's the price. Let's take an extreme, let's say the mandatory delivery charge was $5,000 -- putting the total cost at $30k. Would you still be running around claiming it's the perfect $25k runabout, even though that price isn't real? I'd hope not, but at this point I'm not sure. >I am exposing your attempts to deceive people into believing that the price is higher than it is. Ok -- you order a Slate and go to pay them. How much are you paying. Surely it must be $24,950 if I'm "deceiving" people, right? For the record, I think the practice of not bundling mandatory delivery charges in the price is extremely stupid. But the fact you're using the fake, pre-delivery charge in all of your arguments **makes you guilty of the same shit automakers are doing.** The price is not $24,950 no matter how much you pout that it is.

I think that the Bolt is a good compact *car,* but the problem is that it is not convertible into a compact truck, like the Slate is.
