Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

Absolutely love my lightning. Best vehicle I've ever owned. Snagged a 48 mo lease the month the tax credits expired. Hope Ford doesn't fuck up the replacement.

  2. Comment

Credit where its due, Mercedes completely revised the braking system in '24, then again in '25, its allegedly far more predictable than it was even prior to this refresh, allegedly the calibration on the newer models is better as a whole Still kinda stupid to buy one instead of waiting for the EV S-class which these things are clearly beta testing anyways & beta'ing hard but wouldn't judge solely off of the '23 & no not single person bought an EQS Maybach outright, you could lease these for no joke \~$990/mo w/ $2k down, obviously back in the tax credit days w/ some state incentives but at that price just do it for the bit

  3. Comment

If nothing else, every other country seems happy to buy a 21k USD EV with 260 miles of range. The Bolt with a tax credit is knocking on the door of the cheapest Chinese EVs with similar range in AU/NZ, and is cheaper than cars like the Renault 5 while having more range. Are Americans that fundamentally different to the rest of the world?

  4. Comment

Yeah, its like people are intentionally willfully ignorant to the point of being indistinguishable from arguing in bad faith. The Ford Fathom will have an LFP structural battery pack, 48V architecture, megacasting, zonal architecture, and all for $30k. This will essentially catch them up to what tesla and the Chinese manufacturers are doing, in a vehicle specifically targeting the american market, and specifically designed to be very low price while still being profitable and fully featured, without tax credits or generous subsidies. Its actually the best shot that any american and any legacy auto manufacturer has against real competition from Chinese imports both domestic and in foreign markets, and its as if people in this sub are rooting for it to fail before its even released.

  5. Comment

So months of high gas prices + tax credit + large manufacturer discounts werent enough to make it enticing to buy a bolt back then, and it got discontinued. Same story now with the only difference being no tax credit. Also, FYI, if you check cargurus/autotrader, there are quite a few new ones available for low $20k range right now
