Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

The Mercedes G 63 gets a lot of hate but I drove one and it was the most fun I had since I owned a ND2 Miata. On paper the car fails against a lot of the competition but that V8 with side exit exhausts and commanding seating position make it *fun*. And isn't that what car enthusiasts want?

Thanks for answering my question without bias or attitude. It is an honest question and this is the kind of answer I was looking for. Yes, I understand the newer Toyotas, and from what you are saying Hondas, are having issues too. Honestly I don’t know if I’ll ever buy anything that is made after 2019 (in other words, only pre-Covid cars for me). It seems like that’s when every company (not just auto manufacturers) started making their products as light and cheap as possible while still maximizing profits to keep their board happy. For instance I would rather have a 2017 Toyota Camry than a 2026 Camry. Toyota doesn’t even sell a regular Camry anymore, only hybrids. I’d buy a 2017 Tundra with a V8 rather than a 2025 Tundra with a fancy new powertrain that may, or may not, leave me stranded on the side for the road.

Gas is nowhere near high enough and my commute not long enough for me to give up my fun V8. Enjoying the car I drive is still part of the equation. Id still get an EV for pure utility but I dont really need one.

    > A pushrod V8 IS a small block Chevy V8. That was almost ALL of their V8s for about 30 years. While holden did use some imported SBC's, the holden V8 specifically was a clean-sheet design unique to holden.

A pushrod V8 **IS** a small block Chevy V8. That was almost **ALL** of their V8s for about 30 years. The Northstar V8s in the Cadillacs were the only non pushrods they made until the C8 I think. Idk when the Blackwing's V8 came about.
