Yeah the Ioniq 9 and EV9 are on e-GMP. No matter how good the cars are otherwise, I'd never consider one for that reason alone. The GV90 is competing with things like the GLS (EQS?), X7, and Cayenne EV - at least Genesis would like to think so. You can't come to the party with a stupid fatal flaw you have no solution for.

Same, shifting into so much power is heavenly, even with a 6776 the spool is right there off the line and it sounds so great and is a very serviceable engine. I’d take a X7 40i but will keep my eyes on these EVs since we do have excess rooftop solar if oil prices keep rising…

I was excited to see a proper competitor from Audi to fight the GLS/X7. Especially from a useable 3rd row perspective. But now with the improvements to the new Q7 (interior space and cargo behind 3rd row) the difference as large as say: Q9 vs outgoing Q7. (Not to mention the MSRP in CAD with the lux tax for the Q9 and SQ9 were a little eye watering. SQ9 not when with all the options checked was close to the price of my R8 RWD new in 2023 lol)
