   OP doesn’t seem to be speaking about just rent. I believe €1700 is for rent and living everything included. And yes I know there are cheaper options and me I don’t even live in Paris so yeah I know there are other cities . Where studios would start from about €700 per month. But that’s through an agency with a CDI etc etc . If you’re renting with none of that then it’s mostly Airbnb’s or landlords who are going to take advantage of the situation to hike up the price. And yeah I agree with not scamming the health care system. It’s delicate enough as it is. If we want it to continue being free and accessible then a lot more money needs to be pumped into it and I don’t think they should be handing out freebies to people who don’t pay into the system, except of course for locals who really don’t have the means to contribute. You see on ex pat subs obviously well off people sharing tips on how to get PUMa (previously called the CMU). That shocked me quite a bit because they’re buying houses, not working and taking advantage of a safety net put in place to make sure that the most vulnerable with no money still get access to healthcare. It was mad. And they think it’s totally normal. Like just pay for your mutuel like everyone else. That’s the bare minimum you can do.

   Check sahibinden, that's where locals put listings, price will be much better than airbnb but you need some turkish or google translate for the filters

   Finding an apartment in Antalya for 1 month - Anyone has suggestions to find a furnished apartment for rent in Antalya for September? Airbnb and Booking prices are absolutely insane. I'm sure there are local short-term rentals with much more reasonable offers

   I live in Malmö Sweden and we pay $1400 USD per month for 2 bedrooms, a 1 bed might be more like $1100 and studio $900. However I'm not sure you can get this price for an airbnb or shorter term rental. Rent is controlled and it's queue based but it's relatively easy to get a place.
