Portugal, Spain. Places like England, France, Netherlands are gonna be harder. Eastern Europe you have Albania, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, etc. Hungary might be slightly expensive. Greece could work, as would southern Italy

You could get by close to comfortably in South Eastern and Eastern Europe. Check Numbeo and add +50-100% on top of the default numbers for (South) Eastern Europe. You may be fine in Bulgaria, Serbia, Macedonia, Albania, but just about average, not sure what your definition of "comfortably" means. Healthcare is a major factor/cost to look into. Internet connection as well if you're working remotely.

I wouldnt call the albanian one affordable considering that rent is easily 3x a monthly wage in Albania

My rents in Europe since COVID: 2021: 3b 2b - Stockholm outskirts for $1200 2022: 1b 1b - Belgrade city center for $800 2025: 2b 2b - Albanian riviera with seaside views $1500 Stockholm and Albania were long term rents. Belgrade was found on Airbnb but I negotiated a three month price with owner off the platform.

In the same boat, Spain is deffo an option but get caught out with the 3 month Schengen rule if you’re a UK passport. Balkans are great and deffo cheap enough for your salary, beaches in Albania and Montenegro are great… but cold in the winter obvs. Bali and Asia options if you don’t mind the time difference. Personally like Georgia Batumi (beach) and Tbilisi (city life)
