   Yes and no, since it involves fairly frequent phone calls and scheduling with all involved parties. I used to work in a small civil engineering office and ended up just doing my projects from my laptop. And we also had one architect who was doing purely thermal calculations (no designing at all) of all our projects without ever coming to the office.

   i am an architect doing the digital nomad thing. the thing is that i dont work with architecture, i work with graphic design and marketing. it’s totally possible to work fully remote as an architect but just maybe not the most straightforward path. imo you gotta be a little bit open to try unconventional ways to use your bachelors in architecture to find remote opportunities but they exist, you might just not work designing houses in an architecture firm. but overall there’s many ways to earn money online in any field, just gotta open your mind!

   Absolutely. I did an ethnography on digital nomads and architect came up twice as a career during the study.

   Like others said, but you could also become an architecture journalist/critic or find another creative way to use your skill and travel. I saw an architect who build a tiny house and travels with it as his marketing. I can't find him now, I remember he is Italian.
