Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

In London now. Toronto and France next month, planning a Bosnia/Serbia/Bulgaria trip for October, Mexico in Nov, Tanzania/Kenya in Dec, planning Austria/CH for ski in Jan/Feb. Got Epic and IKON passes so a lot of mountains in those countries plus maybe Chamonix. I have a job. It pays me money. Am a software exec. Easy gig - need to work 20+ years in the SF Bay Area and everything is cake after that.

Portugal, Spain. Places like England, France, Netherlands are gonna be harder. Eastern Europe you have Albania, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, etc. Hungary might be slightly expensive. Greece could work, as would southern Italy

what decides this is whether your income clears a published floor, and most of Europes floors sit above £28k. Conversion firs so the rest means something. At the ECB reference rate on 11 August, £28,000 is about €32,750 a year, €2,730 a month. Spain's teleworking visa wants 200% of the SMI. RD 126/2026 fixed the 2026 SMI at €17,094 a year, so the consulates check €2,849 a month. You're roughly €119 short. Closest miss on the board and still a miss. Croatia is €3,622.50 a month, 2.5x averge net salary, published on mup.gov.hr. Hungary's White Card is €3,000 a month and the OIF page says nettó, not gross, so a gross £28k isn't close. Portugal's D8 runs at 4x minimum wage, €920 this year, so €3,680. Bulgaria is the outlier and probably your actual answer. Applications opened 20 December 2025 and the test is annual rather than monthly, about €31,010, which is 50 times the BGN 1,213 minimum monthly wage set by Council of Ministers decree 243 of 13 November 2025. €32,750 clears it. I've read the wage decree myself. I have not read the literal multiplier clause in the amended Law on Foreigners, so check that before planning around it. Which brings up the on useful comment in here, asking whether you're allowed to work abroad for a UK employer at all. That matters more than any floor above and nobody answered it. Your employer has to accept you being tax-resident elsewhere, and there's a social security side too. Settle that before you pick a country, because a Bulgarian permit is worth nothing if your company says no. No idea on Da Nang, never looked at Vietnam's rules

You could get by close to comfortably in South Eastern and Eastern Europe. Check Numbeo and add +50-100% on top of the default numbers for (South) Eastern Europe. You may be fine in Bulgaria, Serbia, Macedonia, Albania, but just about average, not sure what your definition of "comfortably" means. Healthcare is a major factor/cost to look into. Internet connection as well if you're working remotely.
