Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

Where for example? I traveled whole Europe and lived in Latin America to compare.. no place in Europe seems unsafe to me (not talk g about pickpockets in super touristy places)

Why do people get such a negative and condescending tone in this subreddit lol what I mean is, I went to three places where I took some good photos, and those places were also walkable and had a lot to do, and I want to go to other places where I can take good photos and walk freely and see interesting museums etc. I could talk more about my preferences and lifestyle if anyone cares but I assumed people would stop reading. I kinda just wanted people to throw out ideas without bias, but not include places I’ve already been, so I can expand the pool of cities I’m researching. I’m from the US and most of my travel has been in Asia and Latin America. I understand that in general European cities are walkable but obviously some are more dense and some have more attractions than others. I don’t DN full time so “saving up” for me means I’m not planning to travel or spend much money from December until Mid-March anyway. Ultimately budget is not a concern because I would rather spend a lot of money in a city I love for 5 weeks than go to a cheap city I don’t enjoy for 3 months. I don’t want to only research the cheapest places. I’m asking about spring because that’s probably when my next trip will be, after the two trips I already have planned this year. I’m not one of those people who specifically wants an unusually warm destination for March. I don’t mind if it still feels like winter and I don’t mind if it’s rainy or snowy. I picked spring because of timing not weather. I kinda feel like you just came in here assuming I’m stupid when in reality I was just trying to be concise.

Congrats! I actually started this trip in Medellín in January, and I'm also slowly making my way south towards Argentina (although I'm from there, so I guess I'm eventually making my way home 😅). Right now I'm in Bolivia. I think being nervous is pretty much inevitable. In my case, the anticipation and wanting the trip to finally start were usually stronger than the nerves, but they were definitely there. What helps me a lot is planning things I might want to do. I love looking up attractions, tours, places I want to visit, not only the obvious tourist spots but also the weird, random or curious things you can find in each place. For me, that anticipation usually turns a lot of the nervousness into excitement. I write about slow travel and long-term travel in Latin America too, so if that's the kind of trip you're planning, you might find some useful stuff on my blog: But mostly: enjoy it. Once you're actually there, it stops being this huge abstract thing you're about to do and just becomes your life.

> or should I clarify with Manager/IT before working from Latin America/South America this winter Yes The handbook should clarify what working on the road means and what is a satellite location. at my current job, I have to tell them where I will be working from (home, gf's home) and I cannot work from outside the country.

Work Remote policy/ Should I ask ? - I just got a new remote job, and the handbook says, “Working remotely allows an employee to work at home, on the road, or in a satellite location.” Would you interpret this as allowing temporary work abroad (they don't care) or should I clarify with Manager/IT before working from Latin America/South America this winter
