I’m disagreeing with A. It’s not a significant amount of time. As I said, the idea that three months apart in your late 20s is significant is ridiculous and at best toxic.

It’s two separate statements. You are saying Statement A by itself: “at their age three months is a long time.” Then you say “especially if”. So you assert that, no matter what, three months is a long time at that age. You then say “and it’s even worse if \_\_\_”
