Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

No. He’s too young for that but he also hates jumping. Won’t even jump on the bed, he has to be a big baby and insists on me lifting him up by the butt.

For dealing with strong dogs I hold their collar and push all my weight on their butt to force them to sit. If you can also turn them away so your dog can no longer see the other dog that usually calms them down.

I love when I go to bed and lay on my side. My dog will snuggle behind my legs and lay her bead on my butt and just stare straight at me lol.

Please note I’m not a dog trainer in any capacity, so all of this is just learned experience with my own two dogs. The first and most important step is getting them used to seeing other dogs on walks without any reaction. Some dogs naturally get this down, others require training for it! You won’t know these people, and that’s okay. Keep distance. The rest of it becomes more organic or planned by a trainer themselves. You’ll eventually see dogs on walks that are off leash themselves, or have an owner that says “can our dogs meet?” And from there it’s all about how the dogs read each others social cues and remain responsive to your training. Again, some dogs take to this very naturally. Others require training for it. I strongly advise that if you are concerned or have evidence that your dog doesn’t do well with one on one interactions, get a trainer. I’m sorry they’re expensive as all get out, I wish it was more accessible financially. I don’t recommend seeking out dogs to socialize your dog with outside of a trainer coordinating that for you. Even if your friends have dogs, you’d want to do the steps above to ensure they have a respectful meeting. As a small story, I made the grave mistake of taking my 2 year old dog, who is incredibly well trained, to a dog park and she was fine for months. One of the other dogs got into it with her due to an overcorrection on behavior (my dog sniffed her butt and she didn’t like that). This dog was known to us and was a great friend prior. Immediately no more dog parks after that. We had to readjust her training and pick it back up regularly in order to get her comfortable around other dogs again. It truly is a constant requirement for any degree of socialization. The last piece of this is many will tell you to get a second dog. Don’t! The second dog won’t solve the issue, you will just have two dogs with the same issue now.

My tiny little 15 lb dog spoons me at night. If I lay facing him, he gives me space, if I turn away from him, he'll immediately reposition and lay against my butt. It's very sweet.
