Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

Ummm...no. I think you misunderstand what etiquette is.... Etiquette has very little if anything to do with laws.... Etiquette defines how a polite person behaves in a given society. Where I live taking a dog into an elevator with other people is the equivalent of breaking a massive stinking fart while in that elevator with other people.... Both are legal and both are considered rude af.

what is a rule, can you define it? i see a lot of you throwing around words like rules and etiquette for things that simply arent that, only something you think should be if i live in a country where dogs are allowed on elevators (i think all eu countries allow this) there is absolutely no basis and no reasonable explanation that says i am the one who needs to wait. if you do not like something it is on you to avoid it. do i understand people who have dog phobias? yes, i would happily accommodate them and have, as i have an acquaintance with a dog phobia. but none of them would ever expect a person with a dog to leave an elevator because of their fear. they do the actions to avoid dogs themselves. as they are responsible grown people, not narcissists who think someone should cater to them because they are disgusted by dogs. if you are disgusted, then avoid dogs and leave the elevator. and again, you are once more trying to widen the discussion to implicate untrained and misbehaving dogs and i already excluded this. we are talking about well behaved dogs, as most of them do not jump on people. if i have a well behaved dog, which i do and always have, the onus is on the person who has a problem with dogs, not me

Yeah, god forbid your entire week is screwed up by you having to wait for the next elevator because the person who was already in the elevator is uncomfortable with your dog. Being polite doesn’t make you a second class citizen (being entitled certainly does though!) The problem is that there are so many irresponsible and entitled dog owners, and unfortunately they don’t wear signs or badges so they’re impossible to identify on sight. If someone doesn’t know you how can they trust that you’ll keep your dog (that they potentially have a fear of) under control? That’s fine out on the street but they probably don’t want to be stuck with you and your dog in an enclosed space. It’s just waiting for the next elevator, no one is asking you to take the stairs for the rest of your life. >what is etiquette is to train your dog properly so it does not lick other people or jump on them or engage with them without permission …which their dog wasn’t, therefore the original point stands. These children were not old enough to be out with a dog they couldn’t control. I obviously wouldn’t blame the children because their parents are the irresponsible dog owners here.

That is one very weird community and your discriminatory rules do not become etiquette just because you call it that ;)

Etiquette in my area is that, if you have a dog with you, you only get on an elevator if it's empty. That way, you're not forcing the dog on anyone. This just seems like common courtesy to me. The kids with the rowdy dog should have let you and the elevator go on your way, then waited for the elevator to return empty or taken the stairs.
