Add pumpkin, either canned or powder, to her food. Helps with stool consistency, and the glands will express a bit naturally. Made a world of difference to my girl.

The product is called Glandex. I use it, too. But just fyi, the dosage is too much for my 15lb dog so I only give her 1/2. It helps but doesn't necessarily eradicate the issue. My girl has a chronic problem, some dogs are like that. I get her glands expressed regularly, that's really the only thing you can do if there's no other issue with the doggo.

It's probably anal glands. A little pumpkin or other fibre treats can help, but many dogs need their glands expressed if they can't do it themselves. It smells gross. The other possibility is worms.

My neighbor's dog kept doing it, and she didn't understand why; I went over, grabbed some paper towels, and expressed the glands for her. I saw her the next day, and she told me he wasn't doing it anymore. It’s a bit gross to do, but checking if the glands are full is the first thing you should look at. It’s easy to do, but you need a strong stomach the first time,especially if they’re full.
