Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

If you plan on keeping bro around I can suggest putting a sheet over the couch and bed and when he comes over just take it off. Tada clean hairless furniture\~ I’m with everyone else on not disrupting your dogs routine especially since he’s getting older.

It would be cruel to suddenly force an older dog out of his comfort zones.

I decided years ago that I would stick to dogs I could lift in case of an emergency. I’m a retired vet and if things go wrong I want to be able to get them to safety. So as I’ve gotten older my dogs have had to shrink 😂 I did have a 4kg mix before and it was great to have a lap warmer. My 15ish kg whippet wants to be a lap warmer but it’s harder! My 28kg dog I lost last year was getting a bit big for me by the end. But I’d definitely go back to another little rescue if there’s another opportunity in the future.

I get both of my dog’s teeth cleaned at least every two to three years. Yes it’s expensive but I didn’t do this with my older dog at first and he only has about 3 teeth left. Neither one has ever had an issue going under anesthesia

I think sniff walks are just as stimulating as physical walks/runs. Especially if she’s used to being outside with lots of smells. So, maybe a long sniff walk before bed. I know she’s older, but I would also try to crate train so she has a contained place that is established for sleep and calm. Maybe down the road when she knows nighttime is for sleep, you could let her make the choice about where she sleeps.
