that harness looks like it sits right on his shoulders, which can restrict movement a bit over time. for a dog his size and the activity level you described, i'd look for a y-shaped front that clears the shoulder blades completely. the ones that strap straight across the chest horizontally are the ones people usually warn about. they can mess with their gait and put weird pressure on the joints.

My GSD is 4. Her name is Bug. She’ll came and flop so hard next to me on the couch plonking her head either on my shoulder or leg and do “comfy chews” where she smacks her lips making a chewing sound which means she’s comfy and content
