   Dead ticks can remain attached rather than falling off right away. Individual ticks can be removed with fine-tipped tweezers by grasping close to the skin and pulling upward with slow, steady pressure. Wear gloves, and do not twist, crush, burn, or smother them. Because there are hundreds and some are in difficult areas, please contact your veterinarian promptly for help with safe removal and product guidance. Do not repeat the tick bath or layer another pesticide on top of the monthly preventive until your veterinarian confirms that the products are compatible. Continue the regular preventive only according to its label and your veterinarian’s directions. Wash bedding and inspect other pets and people. Seek veterinary care promptly for spreading redness or swelling, fever, lethargy, poor appetite, lameness, weakness, or pale gums.

   Veterinarian here. That also implants Home Again. How did you get the contact information from the OP to begin with. Did Home Again give it to you? Of all the fees/charges I've had owners tell me they paid for microchips, I've never heard of you folks or a fee of $171.

   Giving you a warning that ethical dog breeding is a hobby not a career. You might make a little money. You might not. Dog walking pays way more, perhaps even better than being a veterinarian. You don’t need formal education for that.

   You can’t get below the gum line adequately without sedation which is actually one of the most important parts of a dental, nor can you typically get the x rays needed. I would genuinely question any veterinarian that actually supports anesthesia free dentals and would not return to them. They’re glorified tooth brushings for a price. You can do that at home. Not to mention it’s very stressful for the majority of pets for it to be considered a widely safe option. For pets that can’t safely go under anesthesia, they either switch gears to highly monitor them, use a different sedation protocol, or even just avoid a dental altogether because whatever ailment they have that is making anesthesia unsafe for them- bad teeth is usually low on the list of concerns at that point.

   Where does your information come from? That’s a broad statement without and facts. I love my dog and am seriously asking where you got that information. I actually discussed this plan with my veterinarian and she agreed.
