Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

Please listen to this advice! I had 2 dogs when I met and married my husband. After 1 died, he didn’t want a 2nd one and I let him convince me. Then when the 2nd one got old and sick, he wanted to euthanize him before I was ready. He did it anyway and fought me for getting another dog, even though our daughter and I were heartbroken. I finally divorced the jerk. I’ve had 2 or more dogs ever since and foster rescues, so sometimes I have 4 or 5. In 12 years, I’ve fostered over 200. Making up for years of one dog.

I agree. I personally wouldn’t even deal with that person again or limit my interactions with them drastically. Because if they start dictating that, what else will they try to dictate? . An acquaintance of mine did that with her cat after spending years telling me what a part of the family he was. And now they’re broken up. I look at her totally differently now too. I’ve got 7 dogs (it’s the country, they just show up). I do what I can every single day to keep that dog stuff to minimum. They do get on my bed but I try to keep my door closed and a thick washable blanket on it to protect the linens. It’s tough to stay on top of, but I like to tell people-it’s their house I just live in it.

your dog has been with you long before your boyfriend and is going to be more loyal than them and has been more loyal for all the years you have spent with it. boyfriends come and go. your dog is family. (I'm saying this as a married man. if my prospective significant other treats my dog the same way, she can get bent. luckily my wife loves our dog)

IMO your boyfriend made a threat which is a major red flag for me. Change your lifestyle or I won't see you in your home. An ultimatum is not a healthy adult conversation. Your dog and you have a routine and relationship that has been maintained and build upon for years. My recommendation is to politely stand up to him.

Within reason- still susceptible to parvo which can live in soil for years, so stick to the pavement until fully vaccinated
