Mom made liver and onions because doctors said the liver was good for nutrition. Also, my father liked it (but he likes all kinds of weird flavors.) I didn't mind liver and onions, but my sibs *hated* it. The aroma of pan-fried liver is very distinctive. I can sit here now, picture the large and deep frying pan on the stove, and recall the exact smell that I haven't smelled in at least forty years.

Ask your doctor to prescribe a titer along with your normal blood work. It will tell you if you need the second does. I just did that about 9 months ago. I was well covered.

Only eat it with bacon, and onions. And only if told to by my doctors to build up blood platelets and Iron! Had to when I almost died from bleeding out.

My mom was anemic and the doctor had her eat it for awhile. My adhd. "Mom this steak tastes funny! " my mom said it was special steak. My brother said he loved it. Worst special steak ever!
