   I remember those paddle signs in the 70-80s with various messages you could flip through. Was so much fun as a kid in the rear-facing back seat of family station wagon. Then got driver's license and realized how distracting and stupid they were. Nowadays you'd be risking your life to a road rager.

   Honking your horn twice is friendlier than just once. - Teaching my son to drive. We’re behind another driver at a stoplight and when it turns green he doesn’t move. I said, “give him two quick beeps”. My son says “why not just one?” I said, “my driving instructor in the 80s said it’s more polite and friendly.” I can’t explain it, but it just is.

   My son's dad won tickets to a Ringos All-Stars' concert for him and his work mates. They were driven to the concert in a school bus. The driver got lost on the way and they were late

   I was the 10th caller and won a CD that entered my name into a drawing to be held after all the CDs were won during that weekend My name was then drawn Monday and I won a Limousine to and from Box Seat tickets at that band's concert the following weekend Took a friend. We had a great time. We were 21 or 22; legal drinking age. On the drive out of the venue he kept yelling "Hey!" out the sunroof of the limo to cars with women. Like 30 times or more Both the limo driver, maybe 35 y.o., and I told him to stop it. But guess what? Eventually two women stopped and one got in with me, he got in her car and we all drove to a local brewery / restaurant Driver sat with us at the table. We drank beer until the vacuum cleaner hit our chairs. We were the last ones out of there Then "my" girl and I did it in the back of the limo as the other couple followed us in the car. We all stopped at a school parking lot a mile from home. One of the women had coke in a bullet We then all then drove to my friend's house and limo guy, Charlie at Esprit Limousine, went "home" or wherever he goes. We tipped him for the extra time My friend and "his" girl went in the house. Me and "my" girl did it in the front seat of the sports car with the door open and I -- to this day I clearly remember -- heard the rapid tick,tick,tick clunk! tick,tick,tick,tick,tick clunk! of a 10 speed bike approaching: It was the paper boy chucking newspapers onto front porches around 530am! I am nearly certain he saw us because we changed nothing once I figured out the noises I just *know* Charlie has better stories
