In my elementary school, when a new kid (male) transferred in there was a line of boys who would fight him. These kids were literally doing 2-3 afterschool fistfights for a few weeks.

We didn’t have hazing in school. I remember our elementary school teachers warning us about being hazed as high school freshman, but then we got there and absolutely nothing happened. There was hazing for frats at my college, but then there was a really bad incident that made the news, and that all kind of stopped.

technically I'm barely a millenial. I was in elementary school (4th grade i think) in long beach (off Redondo between pch and anaheim). we got sent home from school early. my parents went to help board up the 711 by my step dads apartment. watched a line security guard try his damnedest to protect a shopping center. he lost the battle. stores were looted and burned. watched a lot of stuff go on watching TV too. the daytime seemed ok but night time got scary. it was a long time ago and I was only like 10 so I don't remember the order of things and details are foggy.
