   My grocery store did a make over. There was absolutely no need for it. I had been shopping there for over 4 years. I’m still trying to readjust. Muscle memory is strong and it takes a lot to readjust. It’s so damn annoying. Most of it doesn’t even make sense. Peanut butter with the paper plates. Toothpaste with the dog food. The list goes on. Looking everything up on the app takes forever. I’m a get in get out shopper. Before they changed the layout I could do a week’s worth of shopping in 15 minutes. Now I wander around like a lunatic getting more and more pissed. I don’t order online because you can’t trust people to have common sense. I dig in the back of the fridge for the longest expiration on milk. They just grab the first gallon which usually expires in a few days. I want the meat that isn’t weighted by fat. They pick what’s on top. Fruits are either not ripe or brown. None of the employees know where anything is either. It’s a mess that didn’t have to be. Apparently a new manager needed to make their mark. Shelves are stocked all hours of the day. You can’t even get down some aisles because their big ass carts are in the way. Stores used to be stocked overnight or hours before opening. That’s no longer a thing. Unfortunately, we are the last generation of common sense. We’re also the last generation that didn’t have a problem expecting people to work their ass off to get things done. Otherwise stores would be organized appropriately, online shoppers would pick the best item, not the closest and stocking shelves would happen overnight.

   In 9th grade I wrote a letter to an 11th grader. I included the "but I'm drinking milk" part of that milk commercial. I received no response. 🤦🏻‍♀️

   Milk (sometimes with Ovaltine), Kool Aid, Tang, Orange juice and water. We drank tap water. I remember having a great aunt whose water was brown. She would give us an aspirin with the water before we went to bed. We never knew what the aspirin was for but now I wonder if she thought it was protecting us from the water? lol
