   Get a booster mmr. It's no biggie. In the time it took to post this, you could have already been done and gone on with your day 😁. It's easier to just get the shot than to go to the trouble of a blood draw for a titer, then another visit for an mmr shot. Just skip to the mmr and save yourself the time Edited for spelling errors

   MMR didn't exist in my childhood. We got measles vax around 3 (the ineffective one), and then the rubella vax came out when I was in about 4th grade and we all had to get it. Rubella was known as "German measles" or "3-day measles" We all lined up in the auditorium for shots. In fact I seem to remember doing this more than once, so there may have been another new one too. I had the mumps, twice the same year, one one side and then the other. Very not fun.

   Not sure what country you're in, but you can have "titers" drawn of your blood that show how much measles resistance remains in your blood. It's common in the US for pregnant women to have titers drawn for MMR, particularly because Rubella is so deadly to fetuses. It's not super-expensive, even in the US. Call your doctor and ask about titers, and see if you need a re-up! (Also if you tell your doctor you got 1 shot at age 3, they may just say "hey, come get an MMR shot, you'll have a miserable weekend but you'll be set for life.")

   I am 69 and got my MMR last year. I never got mumps, or measles, and the vaccine wasn’t out when I was a kid. The Dr agreed that it was a good idea.

   ‘66 here as well. Had my levels checked for a new job. Nada. Same with chicken pox. No antibodies. So I got both MMR and chicken pox vaccines in my 50’s. Very glad now with measles outbreak. I would have been toast.
