Eat or don’t eat at all. Sit there until you eat it. I have issues with texture and it was really awful some nights. Eventually my Mom would come save me from whatever i was sitting there for hours staring at.

I had plenty of nights sitting at that damn table until bedtime because I just couldn't eat all they gave me. I was a very small child and they served me teenage boy amounts. It was lonely and I remember just kicking my feet for fun.

I was at Dodger Stadium the night the riots started. We were in the top row and could see the smoke and fire to the south. We didn’t know what was going on until we got back to the car and tuned in the radio.

The other one we did at a school poem recital. A literal classroom recital in 4th grade 😂 “One dark day in the middle of the night, two dead boys got up to fight. Back to back they faced each other, drew their swords and shot each other. A deaf policeman heard the noise and came and shot the two dead boys. If you don’t believe my lie is true, ask the blind man he saw it too”. Imagine 4th graders reciting this today 😅
