Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

Grew up in a family of 10 kids. The highlight of the year was getting what you wanted for your birthday dinner (mine was ribs and apple pie). The oldest, my brother, wanted liver and onions; not because he liked it because the rest of his siblings didn’t.

Two tickets to see Barenaked Ladies. But I needed three. My wife and I already had tickets and these tickets would’ve been for my kids. I explained it to the radio station guy at the record store. He took my two tickets back and gave me three. I went home. I told the kids that I only had two and they would have to figure out who was going to stay home. So the middle child decided to fall on his sword and let the oldest and younger go. It was just an experiment, and then I told him that I had three tickets. I’m not sure the middle child really even wanted to go, but here was a free ticket so he went.

I am fortunate they teach analog time and cursive in schools around here. Music & art is taught every year and in high school it’s a huge deal, some schools having tons of options for different instruments and styles of play (you can learn a year of this, year of that or take beginner/advanced in one instrument). My oldest had 2 separate school bands (one traditional & one contemporary-john prine, bruno mars, etc) and she was the lead singer of that one. I also taught my kids how to tell time & how to write cursive & even calligraphy because I think thats cool. However they teach code starting in Kindergarten and I am scratching my head on that. 2 stem classes a day in grK & 1 short recess. My oldest has graduated but I have an 11 yo and a 12 yo & I don’t know if I’ll be able to tutor them once they hit high school! lol I’ll be way behind in the math! lol But I can teach them “life skills math” like interest, savings, loans & credit etc. which is important (they didn’t teach that in my high school). Happy Day! Sorry for the long comment. 😣 ETA: I like what you said about finding a kid & teaching them! 🎶 teach your children well 🎶

We were married 5 years before we had kids and our oldest is late 30's.

Oldest with 2 millennial siblings much younger than me. Our age difference has always created a dynamic where I am a second mom or like an aunt, never felt like siblings to me or them. I am close with one and casual with the other.
