Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

When I went back to university in my 40s they told me I needed booster shots including measles and gave them to me they luckily. That’s what I learned vaccines aren’t actually for life.

  2. Comment

Thank you. I will. I do believe vaccines are for the best and help.

  3. Comment

This is a proven strategy in public health. Polio is nonexistent in the US, and almost the whole world because herd immunity made a very effective vaccine even better. Measles was on the cusp of becoming wiped out in the US until a bunch assholes with room temperature IQs spread a lot of rumors and misinformation about the manufacture of vaccines and made it a political issue instead of being scientifically factual.

  4. Comment

Interesting since the recommendation with the advent of the MMR vaccine was to administer it so as to do a one and done eliminating the need for multiple shots. I still think you should have your titers drawn to see if you need any revaccinations, it’s considered best to do this with adults to avoid unnecessary interventions as well as being sure insurance covers the vaccine if it’s warranted

Early Gen X- did you not get a booster when you were college age? I know that about that time they realized the vaccines we got didn’t last as long as they anticipated. I can remember there being long lines around student health to get them when I was a sophomore. Now that could have been more visible to me since our girls basketball team had just played a school where several girls in the team got measles less than a week after our game.
