Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

I caught the Sugarcubes once in college in Boston at a club on Lansdowne St., really good live show and they matched the energy of the studio recording really well, too.

My dad was a big jazz fan and saw her and a lot of other jazz shows in NYC in the 40's. He used to play us his records and told us all about this song and it's meaning. I asked if she sang this song when he saw her and he said she would not, though people in the club were requesting it. She said it was too sad and politely said no.

Hahaha. I'm a doctor and one of my surgeon colleagues went to Vegas to see Metallica at the sphere over the weekend. My chief medical executive was super excited about seeing U2 at the sphere. I just want to see punk bands and golden age hip hop acts play clubs and medium sized theaters.

These people live in caves, if you work anywhere with a radio or go anywhere that plays music, clubs, bars, shops you will have heard it a million times

>Doesnt this apply in the first place to the whole concept? Yes. and weirdly you have no problem with it. But you do when the rules for who can enter change. Just because the rules for mosh pits aren't explicitly stated, they're still there. To join a mosh pit you have to be willing to be possibly injured, sexually assaulted and more. If you're not, you can't go in. >A mosh like this seems to go against the very definition and idea. Yes, because the definition and idea are pandering to a specific segment of audience while excluding others. This is just trying to give other audience members the chance to enjoy a mosh pit for one song. And somehow that's too much? >but this feels super performative and pandering just for the sake of it Preformative is insincere, this is very sincere. It's sincerely telling men to fuck off and let the women have as much fun as the men have been having for decades, for one song. And men are freaking out becuase for one song, they're not the focus of life. And pandering is just a dysphemism people use to try and make a very common action seem bad. Mosh pits pander to aggressive people who don't mind being injured or sexually assaulted while dancing. We can say "No, everyone is allowed!" which in theory is true, but in reality it's not true because by a free-for-all mosh pit's very nature, it excludes many. It's not explicit about excluding them but it does. Explicitly excluding, and excluding by the nature of the thing, are the same thing. If I open a gym where you have to open the door with a your own penis, isn't explicitly excluding women, but it's still a men's only club. If someone then opens a gym next door only for women, me being upset because they explicitly excluded men, while I just excluded women by making the nature of my club only 'pandering' to men, seems pretty silly. >Moshing isnt for everyone, thats kind of the point. And yet here you're complaining because this mosh pit ALSO isn't for everyone, it's not for men. And somehow it's fine when it's only for men and those willing to be injured or abused by men, but not when it's not for men. You should honestly think about why you seem to find one of those objectionable but not the other.
