Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

If she did it in a Latino country, it could be 100% Latinos! Lmao @ the rationalizations that Spain has lots of Latinos wtf? Then why not Mexico? Why not Colombia?

  2. Comment

Thanks for providing extended thoughts on your POV. I'd wager it depends on the type of latino being talked about. The blue collar worker, low education immigrant is probably heavily negatively stereotyped. The white collar worker, higher education immigrant is probably viewed much better (I fit that category) so I'm surely biased in receiving better treatment. Latinos also have very varied ethnicity mixes, and the whiter the mix then probably less discrimination faced as well. Altogether though, I'd wager at both low and high education levels, latinos are likely the preferred immigrant out of all non-first world immigrant types, so treated better than people from arabic, black african, eastern european, indian and asian immigrants... just because of the language barrier not being there, and many inherited elements of culture being shared due to the extended periods of colonialism

*Latinos* were the peoples under the influence of the Roman empire. When did the Romans invaded America again?

  4. Comment

Historically, latin referred to the language/cultural sphere derived from the Roman world. That would then include the french, italian, spaniards, portuguese, etc. Latinoamerican would refer to latinos in (south) america. Nowadays latino = latinoamericano, but some people still make that distinction.

Latinos live in the US and Spain, the rest are just Mexicans, just ask anybody in the US /s
