Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

Yes and no. Lance is halfway telling the truth, but you are correct about his lack of publishing contributions affecting his residuals. What he's hiding is how they got a big settlement from their former manager and then made millions off their 2 tours as headliners in the early 2000s outside of their 360 deal. This is revisionist history, when anyone with the facts saw them living very well after the 1990s.

But most importantly fuck Lars for feeling the need to be the face of this after multiple decades of punching down on others at that point. The guy was crying into glasses of wine as he sold his art collection for millions in profit around the same time on film for Some Kind of Monster while being upset he couldn't shit on Jason's solo show for not having a crowd when he went to troll it. His own former fucking bandmate who they never stopped hazing until he left.

Absolutely. Napster and file sharing absolutely wrecked music sales. While bands like Metallica already had their millions, the middle and smaller acts seriously suffered financially. These days it's a lot easier to get your music out there, but it's a lot harder to break thru and become a successful musician.

That would be cool, but I dont think many people would do that. That's a ton of hard work and money invested. She's probably rich enough I imagine, but like that could be millions in limbo.

Depends on the songwriter. If you’re a Max Martin type or something you are probably charging hundreds of thousands if not millions per song. Hell, its not uncommon for Rappers to charge for a feature spot on the songs (Snoop has been pretty open about how much he charges to get him in the studio, and what you get)
