   yeah, I don't know, maybe it was PR misinformation and such... and about her feeling overwhelmed by it: it's not an argument, it's just how she said she felt, ok... BUT it was all over the news and the thing with taylor is that it seems to follow this pattern: it has to get to an extreme amount of news and people talking for her to release a statement, which I think is very irresponsible. But anyway, the downvotes will come for all of us.

   Holy shit this couldn’t be wronger, but keep defending billionaires. Your researching ability needs work. Artists can decide on dynamic pricing but TS somehow convinces her base it is out of her control. The full system needs an overhaul, but Taylor found the loopholes and exploited the fuck out of them. Again, it sounds like she truly is living the American dream.

   i think part of it is that hating taylor has become its own form of internet culture at this point. she’s so culturally omnipresent that even people who don’t care about her have formed an entire identity around disliking her. and because she’s such an easy shorthand for everything people already dislike about celebrity culture, capitalism, fandom, femininity, etc., she gets dragged into conversations that have absolutely nothing to do with her. at a certain point it stops being “i don’t like taylor swift” and becomes “taylor swift is a subject i have chosen to repeatedly engage with because i enjoy talking about why i don’t like taylor swift.” which is exactly why it’s so weird when she gets brought up in completely unrelated posts 😭
