>Bad is like a greatest hits with no duds. I gotta disagree. I'm a fan of MJ and Stevie Wonder, and when I finally decided to give Bad a front to back listen I saw that Just Good Friends was a duet with both of them. I was thinking to myself, "holy shit, how have I never heard of this before? Why does this have the fewest plays out of all the songs on the album when it's got two members of music royalty on it?" Then I listened to the track and had the answer to all my questions answered. There isn't a song on Thriller as bad as that track IMO. I'm guessing you have Baby Be Mine and Lady in My Life as the filler tracks, and while the latter is definitely the weakest track on the album I'd listen to that over Just Good Friends any day of the week.

What's impressive is MJ actually wrote those songs too. Some of his hits had other writers, like Thriller, but the fact this guy actually solo composed his own most iconic songs is incredibly compared to pop stars of today.

I had Thriller ( like almost anyone else hah). Bought this one for dirty Diana . Very powerful track . Love it .

IMHO, it’s better than Thriller which got a couple of filler tracks. Bad is like a greatest hits with no duds. I also think that MJ peaked at Bad and started to go downhill since Dangerous which was a couple of years too late to jump on the NJS bandwagon.

QJ’s work with MJ peaked with Off the Wall in my opinion. Thriller was amazing but that was largely due to Michael’s input more than Quincy’s if you ask me. Off the Wall feels like it had more of Quincy’s direct influence in each track
