Bruno Mars is a prick. I worked on a tour of his (quite a while ago admittedly) where he cancelled a show and told everyone he was sick but conveniently left out the fact that his sickness was from drinking and gambling until around 7am at a casino the night before.

You can make music in a vacuum. You can sit in your bedroom to write, record and even release with nobody stopping to give you extrrnal input. Then when you've released it you can pay someone to organise you a tour. Nobody involved has a hand in the creative output, and they just care that they get their money. Actors still need to work with directors, still need to be approved by the casting team, need to screentest etc. even if they're nepo babies. Wrestlers *cannot* step in the ring unless they have the talent to not accidentally kill somebody. I'd be interested to know how many nepo baby authors there are. That's something you can theoretically get quite far with, but again publishers are still quite important.
