I don't understand the hate Thom has received for this sentiment. Many musicians and bands have expressed similar opinions over the years, with 0 outrage. Michael Jackson (famously did not like to tour), David Byrne (basically got TH to stop touring because he hated doing the same show nightly), Dillinger Escape Plan (what a list, eh?). give me a break. EDIT: Clarity for DEP, I read an interview with Greg Pucatio years back with him basically saying, "You do the tour to get to the next set of songs (to write/record)"

That works for a tour going to multiple cities, but for a big one off show like this people will plan on travelling across the country (or even the continent) for this event. People can’t be expected to pay for travel to go to the venue to maybe get a ticket, then travel again to go to the show a few months later.

I went to see them on the tour for this album and managed to get backstage , I heard them soundcheck their songs , which they mostly sang in Icelandic . Id spent some time on holiday with one of the original members. Very friendly lot .

Waiting for the right moment to boost her net worth EDIT - likely if she releases music she’d be forced to go on tour. She may not want to do that.

It's a great album. She has arranged it very well as basically a full musical story. My wife and I saw her for this tour and she was phenomenal (again!).
