It's a double-edged sword, though. It's easier than ever to get your music out there, even as an independent musician on services like Spotify, Apple, or Youtube. On the other hand, these corporations are highly predatory and you will make significantly less in compensation. The world of physical media is fully dead, so the world adapted a new system that at least somewhat monetizes file-sharing (streaming may as well be considered that, but with a licence). Now platforms are finding they can "make" their own music with AI and pay royalties to themselves.
