   Have you seen what passes for a Lab these days? Seriously, go on petfinder and search for any kind of dog breed. And you think pitbulls are mislabeled? Everything is a pit mix these days!

   Interesting how it’s never a “training issue” for Cavaliers or Golden Retrievers. Or any dog breed that wasn’t bred to be a fighting dog.

   Just wrong and the most classic excuse from the playbook. That is not how dog breeds work. They are bred over hundreds of generations to do exactly what they are supposed to. Retrievers are not taught to retrieve. Pointers are not taught to point. Terriers are not taught to catch rats. They have been systemically selected genetically for this trait. And pitbulls are not taught to have high pain tolerances, no signs before attacking, and incredible bite damage / tenacity. They are that way because they were MADE that way.

   It's not a numbers "game", pits are responsible for more fatal injuries than all other dog breeds *combined*. That can't be handwaived away.

   They accept that other dog breeds are bred for specific traits but then it’s “no pit bulls aren’t naturally violent just because they were breed for that”
