Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

They've had many years to make it better. I don't want to pay more money with little to no advancements because then that will always be there answer, "just raise the fare" but with nothing to show for it

  2. Comment

Fare evasion would drop to zero if we removed fares.

  3. Comment

Yeah, because if it was government-run the fares would be much higher. Transportation is basically always publicly subsidized, no matter the format--cars are subsidized out the wazoo, the subways are, etc. The only form of transportation that doesn't need a subsidy is walking.

  4. Comment

The real question is did it save the public and mta +70%?? Is the MTA now on a path of not raising fares and getting out of debt?? My guess is cost more tax payers more than it saved

  5. Comment

If your willing to crawl on the disgusting floor to avoid the fare then nothing in this world can stop you from getting to where you need to go.
