   I mean, there is one reason. This one is Jews. And even if you don't want to think that anti semitism drives this outsized attention... A coinciding explanation is that Israelis are (mistakenly) considered to be "white" and the western left-leaning world loves to scream when, in their view, white people are being bad. Most of the other hideous wars and tragedies worldwide are black and brown people fighting and killing other black and brown people and the social justice warriors just don't give a shit. Why? Because their capacity to study issues in detail is non-existent. It's easy for them to identify white people as the aggressor and the villain and to start screaming about it. But if it's two different groups of black or brown people half the planet doesn't even understand who the good guys and the bad guys are. And sometimes, when it's clear that the bad guys are a group of black or brown people, there's another weird leftist aversion to calling it out because they don't ever want to criticize black or brown people, no matter what. In our woke world of social justice activism, the only people who ever act badly are white. And if you can't easily fit something into your cookie cutter world view of war, you just ignore it. So most people ignore so much.

In fact I'd argue that you're doing a rhetorically sleight of hand claiming that WoL, a group with zero political and military power, is somehow angling to enact a genocide in Israel. Holy tendentious framing. There's definitely a vibes based usage of the term here and it's not on the side you think. Hamas killed 1000 Israelis on October 7th. Israel has killed 70,000 Palestinians since. Israeli's chief military officer is now openly admitting they are planning to expel the remaining 2 million Gazas. It's just right there in the news, no mincing of words. They're also openly calling for a preemptive war against the PA in the West Bank.

   I wasnt agreeing or disagreeing with your reported claim here (although I think it's a disingenuous argument that I do disagree with.) but your tying the treatment of Jews living in NYC to something that happens abroad and using the solely identifying character of everyone you don't like simply being Jewish, that's anti-Semitic. That's also what most people claim to not be doing and instead saying they're "Anti-Zionist." By saying that Israeli's abroad need to do X so you/people in NYC don't do Y means that your finally saying the quiet part out loud and simply saying that you're opinions and actions are towards Jews as a whole. Its a preferable action that you're doing because I'm tired of vaguely masked anti-Semitic behavior, just keep it out in the open.

   Far, far, far more Palestinians have been captured, tortured, and killed than Israelis. Before and after oct 7 There’s never been one single day where the worst crimes of Hamas have even come remotely close to what the IDF is doing to the entire population. But because you don’t see Muslims as human beings, you don’t care. Disgusting oaf
