   I mean, there is one reason. This one is Jews. And even if you don't want to think that anti semitism drives this outsized attention... A coinciding explanation is that Israelis are (mistakenly) considered to be "white" and the western left-leaning world loves to scream when, in their view, white people are being bad. Most of the other hideous wars and tragedies worldwide are black and brown people fighting and killing other black and brown people and the social justice warriors just don't give a shit. Why? Because their capacity to study issues in detail is non-existent. It's easy for them to identify white people as the aggressor and the villain and to start screaming about it. But if it's two different groups of black or brown people half the planet doesn't even understand who the good guys and the bad guys are. And sometimes, when it's clear that the bad guys are a group of black or brown people, there's another weird leftist aversion to calling it out because they don't ever want to criticize black or brown people, no matter what. In our woke world of social justice activism, the only people who ever act badly are white. And if you can't easily fit something into your cookie cutter world view of war, you just ignore it. So most people ignore so much.

   The “second group” also churns out mountains and mountains of dishonest propaganda that riles up “group 1” and that’s on purpose because they want to radicalize as many group 1 people as possible and they have been very successful at this, sadly. One by one by one, people in my life suddenly start posting a barrage of complete insanity. It starts with accusations of Israeli evil and hideousness - random stories about X or Y person that aren’t true and have no original source and are memed and re-memed 1000 times the story changing every time….and then the next wave is the same person starting to post about how Jews are causing high rent and conspiring to keep everyone else down and controlling the world. One by one These are…or used to be….nice people, and eventually their rotted algorithm and the insidious propaganda takes over their brain and voila, new member of “group 2” We live in hell

   I wasnt agreeing or disagreeing with your reported claim here (although I think it's a disingenuous argument that I do disagree with.) but your tying the treatment of Jews living in NYC to something that happens abroad and using the solely identifying character of everyone you don't like simply being Jewish, that's anti-Semitic. That's also what most people claim to not be doing and instead saying they're "Anti-Zionist." By saying that Israeli's abroad need to do X so you/people in NYC don't do Y means that your finally saying the quiet part out loud and simply saying that you're opinions and actions are towards Jews as a whole. Its a preferable action that you're doing because I'm tired of vaguely masked anti-Semitic behavior, just keep it out in the open.
