   While this is probably not true, what does this have to do with anything, even if it were? As I stated elsewhere, the people in the midst of the measles outbreaks they caused are all white people. They have often been photographed and interviewed. And they are either conservatives or in religious cults.

   As cases rise, both in NY and throughout the country, it’s worth getting titers done. I had to get them done for a job and even though I’d had the MMR series, my measles’ antibodies were gone. Mumps and rubella were fine. My mom had measles as a kid and her immunity was gone, too. My PCP had no issue prescribing earlier this year (I wanted to make sure the MMR shot I got after those first titers gave me measles immunity) and insurance covered it—and my insurance isn’t great. You never know who is taking the same train or what you’ll get exposed to if you have to go to the ER, and if you work with the public in any capacity you’re being exposed to so much

   Measles is one of the most transmissible illnesses known. It just takes one person getting on a train with their unvaccinated kid…

   Holy shit! Thank you for all this very detailed information. Way more than I was expecting but super appreciate it. When I got rubella I was living on the Isle of Man and had to quarantine for two full weeks in my house because of how many pregnant women from all over the world lived there. Not a big deal at all but the measles is a whole different situation. I don’t want to even potentially deal with this.
