Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

With billions in federal healthcare cuts, I’m very pessimistic of any significant help. I think NYC has voiced and prioritized it at some level, but the ask would need to be for access to the giant pot of Medicaid money that specifically has a rule against this (IMD exclusion). We have relocation programs all across the country to move homeless people out of bad situations into more stable environments. If NYC offered a comprehensive, stable solution for the mentally ill, why would they go anywhere else? They are already attracted to the social services and mass transit systems provided now.

It generates jobs to build them and to maintain it plus other tax revenue for state. Even very little permanent jobs is still better than none for whats happening now.

  3. Comment

But thats not whats happening now, so idk why people are acting like its not a current issue. If they were restricted to that, and we didnt see millions of americans across the country see their power bills go up essentially subsidizing new datacenters, it wouldnt be an issue

Democratic socialism is when we cut regulations in neoliberal fashion now? Anyway, this is a very good idea, especially at the local government level which is so bloated

Remote assistance should help with this. There will definitely be issues but humans can fix them for now
