True. But this father created the problem. A person violent against society from the beginning, he knowingly placed his child in danger from the beginning of that child's life. Of course the child will be traumatized when removed from him. But that's what child welfare services does when *any* parent poses a danger to their child. Placed with a loving foster/adoptive parent, that beats the likelihood of the child becoming drug-addicted, dissolute, or dead if he remains with such a father(and mother. She, allegedly also sold drugs).

I'm a liberal and I think he should be deported but the ripping kids away from parents is an issue and a big one. These kids will be traumatized for the rest of their lives.
