Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

He may have an MD or equivalent, which is not the same has being licensed, which requires completing a year of internship and submitting various documentation (and $500 or so) to the state licensing board. Furthermore licensing (by the state) is different than being board certified in your specialty which is the national professional society. Very confusing

There is some lifestyle creep but it vastly diminishes as you get into the ranks of super wealthy. There's only so much you can spend. A person with a 100k a year coke problem is potentially doing a kilo of coke per year. I don't think they're going to live long enough to worry about needing a job. Elon Musk could put aside some money to buy and destroy a Tesla class Y every hour for the next fifty years and still have around $750 billion dollars for incidentals.

If so - in a *long, very long* time. But services for disabled people aren't going to disappear. *If* we ever get to a point where all cars/trucks etc became autonomous - hard to predict, but loooong term a real possibility, it'd be because they had become as safe as aviation or trains and that would be fantastic for society. About 40,000 people die a year in automobile crashes a year in the US. 40,000 a year is an abomination.

My lifestyle costs about $100,000 per year. I have liquid assets so that I could survive more than a year if I got laid off and non liquid assets so that I could survive multiple years without working. I still need to work though since I'm planning on living more than ten years. This is working class (upper working class). Some people have assets that generate enough income so that a person does not have to work. For example, if I were to have $2 million dollars in cash, I could make $100,000 per year in interest/dividends without having to work at all. This is not working class.

  5. Comment

Its not an arbitrary number. At $4-5Million in assets like in a brokerage you could comfortably draw like $250k a year and not really lose much principal plus that would be taxed at long term capital gains. So that is like $220,000 cash a year to live off of without lifting a finger. Thats top 10% of the US without labor.
