   I suspect they’re waiting to see how people respond to his “apology.” Which… isn’t ideal, but also is kind of expected. It’s often pretty hard for people to accept that someone they know well isn’t a good person. Additionally, Isaac Brock was accused of rape in 1999 by a 19 year old. She withdrew her accusation (which doesn’t mean she wasn’t telling the truth!) I default to believing the victim, but given that no one has made similar allegations in the 25 years since (and tbh I’d expect them, since Isaac spent a lot of that time on a major bender, rapists on drugs aren’t known for self-control), no one has corroborated the original accusation, *and* it was withdrawn, I’m inclined to believe it was false. While it isn’t an excuse, I could see someone like Brock being inclined to believe his bandmate, given his own experiences. But I’m still watching. I’d forgive a delay in doing the right thing, but he still has to do the right thing. Too many other girls have reported similar behavior from Simon. He routinely pervs on young fans on Insta. This isn’t a one-off.

   I hate on literally 95% of celebrities. You'll see that I never comment on popculture subreddits. This only popped up on my feed and that's why I'm here. I just think it's funny that you can have a guy like John who's done so much good yet whenever he's mentioned vultures like you come out. And just so you know - no. He never directly said that Taiwan is part of China. In fact his apology angered many people in China because of that. Do I wish that I stood his ground and said that Taiwan is a free country? Yes. Do I understand that he is greatly incorporated into China (to the point of learning Mandarin) and has a very thin line he's trying his best to walk on? Also yes. Do you ever talk about how many Make-A-Wishes he's done? Or is it only negative? Do wrong once and hear about it forever right?

   I think it will fail as well and it's also a really bad choice for a young actress to keep the case alive and risk being stuck with Rebels appeal lawyer fees as well. That actually is making me think Rebel might be onto something because what young actress wants to keep building her lawyer bills unless those bills are being covered by the Ghost lady? I'd go negotiate an apology in exchange for Rebel dropping the lawyer fees claims. Then move on.

   There's people who won't consider any apology from certain people no matter how it's done to be good, while the same apology from someone they like would be considered a good apology in their eyes. For them it's not a matter of holding people accountable, it's wanting to be validated in their dislike for someone.
