Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

Extreme narcissism and possessiveness. They don't view themselves as members of a family unit; rather, their family (wife/children) are extensions of themselves. They view them as property that they can do with as they will. If they're facing a threat (divorce or public shame) that threatens their control/image/status, in their minds their family doesn't get to exist outside of the framework they deem fit. Just as someone might destroy their own stuff in a fit of rage or burn down their own house rather than lose it, some men don't view their family unit as consisting of autonomous human beings but as property to be destroyed as a display of their absolute ownership. Divorce is a lot more taboo for that generation

So I’m missing something. If she found out about the double life after she posted the crying video what did she think happened? Just that he wanted a divorce? But then I’m like no bc she said she left? Idk can someone fill me in lol

I think this sounds like a valid approach for you, but you can’t assume to know what’s best for her children. For all you know, they are supportive of her mother using her pre-established social media as an outlet? I’m imagining they’ve had countless conversations over the years about their mother’s presence on the internet and the vulnerable and intimate details she shares- this level of disclosure is not new for her. And maybe it’s not the perfect approach for them, and they live and work through it. She’s going through life for the first time too, and is just as capable of making parenting mistakes as we all are. In that case, the repair attempts are what are most important and we’re unlikely to be privy to those on social media. I just think it’s sad to see so many people casting a broad judgment on her without considering that she knows her children and their levels of tolerance best. She clearly had a dysregulated moment when she shared the initial tearful video about the separation, but since then any videos she has shared has been with intentionality and not a “crash out.” I’m coming from the perspective of a child of divorce who also wouldn’t have wanted the whole world knowing my family’s business, but I’ve also not walked in their shoes to assume those are the same desires of her children.

It's me, hi - I'm the walking cautionary tale. Dated my husband for 7 months before getting engaged and eloped the month after. Married for 13 years before he - CLICHE ALERT! - left me for a younger model. Now five years out from the divorce and realize I really never knew him well at all. Edit: words
