We don't need a Glee revival, we need theatrical musicals to widely release stage performance proshots so more people who don't live in New York can see Broadway musicals done well. The Hadestown proshot just did great in theater release!

I LOVED Zoey's Playlist. The thing I hated about Glee is Murphy taking whatever hit song was playing and trying to shoehorn an episode around that song. Zoey's used whatever song was appropriate for the situation, even if it was 20+ (or older) years old.

As obsessed as I was with Glee back in the day; I wouldn’t want any cast member to come back unless they were enthusiastic about the project on their own terms and not just what fans want. The parasocial relationship fans have with celebs is very toxic. These are real people with their own wants. Buy some dolls and write some fanfics and act it all out in your bedroom. 😅

Don’t forget Livejournal! A lot of the biggest Glee fics were directly in the authors’ journals, in shipping communities or in kinkmemes and didn’t get posted in AO3 or ff.net until later (if at all). I was very into the fandom back when it was airing and I can’t really recall reading Glee fic in AO3.
